Meet Connie

Connie Monica Guglietti is a first daughter, a first grandchild (of Michela’s family), a big sister and a role model to Sofie and Simona, a niece and cousin within a big family, a friend and playmate and schoolmate, a dancer, a singer, an artist, a budding entrepreneur, a wise-before-her-years inspiration and a brave, compassionate, loving, faithful, determined, warm, funny, super hero, and warrior princess. Her beautiful and creative life, and her battle against DIPG, is the inspiration for the continuing efforts of the We Love You Connie Foundationand its fight against pediatric brain cancer (namely DIPG).

The We Love You Connie Foundation is a fundraising effort dedicated to raising money to find a cure for DIPG. After losing their daughter, Connie Monica Guglietti to DIPG in October, 2016, Marco and Michela Guglietti began the foundation along with Marco’s brothers Silvio, Riccardo and Johnny Guglietti. Guglietti Family, together with the many generous supporters of the We Love You Connie Foundation, are extremely proud to announce that over $3,000,000 have been already donated to specific neuro-oncology programs in the World’s Leading Hospitals; for Improving Care, Support Most Promising Research Trials, and Future CURE of Children’s Brain Cancers, namely DIPG!
$1 million has already been committed to the SickKids Hospital in Toronto (already $800,000 sent as of January 20th, 2020), and $1.1 million to the Montreal Children’s Hospital (complete $1,100,000 sent as of January 20th, 2020), and $400 thousand to Princess Margaret Cancer Centre ($300,000 sent as of January 20th, 2020), and $400,000 to DIPG Centre of Expertise (DCez), $200,000 to Dana-Farber Cancer Centre ($100,000 USD + $100,000 CAD as of January 20th, 2020), $100,000 USD to Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, Miami, $100,000 CAD to Boston Children’s Hospital, and 30K Euros to IOZK [Immun-Onkologisches Zentrum Köln], Köln, Germany.
